This target was designed to allow the means of establishing a specific criteria for measuring the performance of CCTV cameras.
By specifying required screen height and resolution (indicated by the markings on the target), the camera/lens performance can be checked to confirm compliance with the system specification in accordance with UK Home Office Police Scientific Development Branch (PSDB) “CCTV Operational Requirements Manual”.
In addition to the full ROTAKIN kit and heavy-duty static ROTAKIN kit, we can now offer a lightweight simple to assemble static kit. This kit comprises the standard ROTAKIN CCTV test target, an easy to assemble four-legged stand and a camouflage cloth cover for the target that doubles as a bag for the stand.
The whole kit only weighs 4.3kg as opposed to the heavy-duty static kit at 8.9kg. If your application does not warrant the use of either of the full ROTAKIN kit or the heavy-duty static ROTAKIN kit, then the lightweight kit can offer a very economical alternative solution for CCTV monitoring
applications.
